Adolescents face specific life tasks, such as achieving identity, owning one’s gifts and talents, vocation, different expectations for boys and girls, underachievement, and so on. The inner world of children and adolescents is hidden from us. We usually don’t know their fears and doubts. In order to understand the stress of adolescent development we must ask teenagers about their experience. This session will present insights from gifted adolescents.
